Functional Medicine Training

The National Capital Region Pain Initiative supports sending DoD providers and healthcare team members to Functional Medicine Training. Currently, the program has worked with the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) to send these applicants to the beginner Applied Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice (AFMCP) course. The NCRPI has worked with IFM to develop a Phase II course for attendees be able to learn how to implement the information in the AFMCP course in the DoD setting. Phase I & Phase II is currently entirely virtual and is a combination of videos, live meetings and support materials.
