Battlefield Acupuncture Training

Acupuncture being performed near ear

The Battlefield Acupuncture (BFA) is a powerful pain management tool created by Dr. Richard Niemtzow in 2001. The attendees for this course will learn how to help patients with a diverse array of acute and chronic pain conditions, regardless of cause, duration, or severity. It can be utilized in the inpatient setting, in outpatient clinics, in the emergency department, and in deployed and battlefield environments.

Battlefield Acupuncture courses are being offered quarterly within National Capital Region (NCR). This course is open to physicians, nurses, select corpsmen, PAs/NPs and other specialties such as PT, OT, etc. to learn this limited acupuncture technique. It can be used quickly and efficiently for a variety of pain problems in a busy clinical setting.
