VIRTUAL LOGISTICS - AUGUST 12 & 13 (ALL TIMES ET)

The 2025 Combined Pain Care Skills Training & Substance Use Disorder Virtual Workshops and Keynote Session will be held in the ZoomGov platform. All virtual workshop registrants will receive an email prior to the Training with instructions for accessing the Workshops based on your course selections during the registration process.

IN-PERSON LOGISTICS - AUGUST 18 - 21 (ALL TIMES ET)

We continue to have safety as a #1 priority therefore, this training will be part virtual (August 12-13, 2025) with interactive workshops via ZoomGov and a small in person training (August 19-20, 2025) for NCR locals in Washington, DC. The International Pain Working Group will have their Annual Meeting (August 18 & 21) in Washington, DC, this event is by invitation only. 

Limited travel funds may be available for DoD Attendees ONLY. DoD Attendees may contact NCRPI directly to inquire about these funds at dha.bethesda.wrnmmc.mbx.pain-skills-training@health.mil.

This year, the in-person portion of the 2025 Combined Pain Care Skills Training & Substance Use Disorder will take place at the Partnership for Public Service, in Washington, DC.

GETTING TO THE PARTNERSHIP FOR PUBLIC SERVICE BUILDING

The entrance to the building is on 14th Street NW, in between The Hamilton and Swing’s Coffee Shop. Take the elevator to the 6th floor to access the registration desk to pick up your name badge and other meeting materials; all trainings will take place on the 6th floor.

By Metro: Metro Center Station (Blue, Orange, Red and Silver Lines) 0.2 mile walk from the metro station to the meeting venue.
By Car: There are several nearby parking garages. Please reference the Partnership for Public Service website for nearby parking garage options.
By Foot (if staying at the Hotel): The Grand Hyatt is 0.4 mile walk (~9 minutes) from the meeting venue.

Lunch Options

Lunch will not be provided to attendees, however, there are plenty of nearby restaurants and lunch options. Attendees can expect to have about an hour in between morning and afternoon workshops and are welcomed to pick up lunch and return to the Training location to eat in the designated common area. 

Health & Safety

Risk measures will be taken per CDC guidance for the location and date of the training.
